The family conversations that keep getting postponed.

We make them happen comfortably, intentionally and on record.

A guided, recorded conversation designed to feel natural, not staged.

Every family says they should capture their stories “someday”. But without intention and structure, someday never comes. At Learn By Legacy Story Studio, we create the space where your family finally shares the stories that matter with each other.

Why families choose us

You already know the stories need to be preserved

What’s missing isn’t the technology or even the time. It’s the space that makes these conversations feel important enough to actually happen.

We make space for the conversations that matter

Family members share with each other, guided by thoughtful prompts that unlock memories beyond surface conversation.

Stories that only emerge when conversation becomes intentional. Preserved in formats you can treasure and pass down for generations.

Three Ways to Preserve Your Family’s Legacy

From capturing a single treasured story to creating a comprehensive family archive, we offer options designed around what matters most to your family.

Hi, I am Alyssa.

After my father passed away, all we had was a short VCR tape of him playing football with my brothers in the yard. That tape is long gone, along with the sound of his voice, his laugh and the image of him running for the ball.

My mother died in 2021 and I only have a handful of short videos on my phone. Most were from birthdays, where we sang to her while she smiled for the camera. They feel staged. Moments meant to be captured, but not the ones that truly revealed her. None of them hold the sound of her voice or the candid way she shared her wisdom.

That loss taught me something: having video isn’t enough. Without intention, we end up with clips that show occasions, but not the person. We think we’ll take the time to capture the conversations that matter most “someday”, but someday often never comes. I carry that regret with me every day.

I wish I had asked the questions that would have brought their lives into full view. Their memories of growing up in Puerto Rico. What it was like to start over in New York. How those experiences shaped the values they carried into our family. I wish I knew the lessons they learned, what they were proud of, the regrets they carried, and the hopes they held for us.

Learn by Legacy Story Studio is my way of helping families be intentional while there’s still time. By creating space for these conversations, we give future generations more than just a memory. We give them a voice, a story, and a legacy that will live on together.
